blessed to have a talented actor - Anoop Menon

Malayalm Cinema is blessed to have a talented actor - Anoop Menon
Malayalm Cinema is blessed to have a talented actor Anoop Menon casting himself in striking roles. Anoop Menon has proved himself as a Powerful Script Writer through his movie ' Beautiful '. Anoop Menon is much happy with the success of Beautiful.

Malayalam filmmakers cinema has always been known for the sensitive handling of topics. Malayalam filmmakers have always been brave enough to touch topics with high emotional content.

Though script by Anoop Menon is imaginative, it could have had a more strong storyline. However, we need to appreciate director VK Prakash for his excellent narrative. Music by Ratheesh Vegha is average.

Life :

His real name is Anoop Gangadharan and he hails from Karamana, Thiruvananthapuram. He became popular for his roles in the mega serials Swapnam and Megham, the former one directed by K. K. Rajeev. Anoop made his debut as a screenwriter in Pakal Nakshatrangal with Mohanlal playing father and Anoop his son.

Anoop made his debut as a screenwriter in Pakal Nakshatrangal with Mohanlal playing father and Anoop his son. In Moksham (2004), he paired opposite Zeenat Aman.

He also had the main role in Thirakkatha by Renjith, portraying different stages in the life of film star Ajay Chandran loosely based on the personal life of Kamal Haasan. His co-stars were Priyamani and Prithviraj.

Anoop is a law graduate. He studied at Government Law College, Thiruvananthapuram from 1994 to 1999. During this period, he used to do compering for Kairali TV and Surya TV.

He won the 2008 Kerala State Film Award for second best actor and also the filmfare award 2009 for the same film

For all those who contravened that Malayalam cinema is going ‘into the wrong hands’ or is facing a downfall, here is a talented actor as well as Screenwriter who undoubtedly will contribute much more for adding acievements to Malayalam Film Industry.

Beautiful :

Beautiful, undoubtedly is a class apart movie and worth the watch. Maybe it does not deal with the complicated intricacies of human life. It’s all about subtle relationships that are there to last forever. Simple, yet shown in the most elegant way!

Beautiful is the story of friendship between Steven Louis and John. The protagonist Steven (Jayasurya) is paralyzed except for his head. His positive attitude is what drives him in his life.

India is a land where even copy cats are respected. Most Hindi films are plagiarized; we have people specialized in Malayalam too. The respect we give to these people is also the disrespect or utter lack of reverence to the creators.

Anoop Menon’s script and dialogues are refreshing as a breeze. Some scenes are connected with scenes from Padmarajan movies.

V.K. Prakash, through ‘Beautiful’ proved that movies can be narrated in style. Maybe his last flick ‘Three Kings’ proved to be a disaster for the audience who had to forcefully hold tight to their seats for solid 2-3 hours. ‘Beautiful’ breaks all stereotypes. The brilliant performances of Jayasurya, Anoop Menon and Meghna Raj add double splendour to the movie. Anoop Menon, as a script-writer, has done a remarkable job.

Stephen Louis (Jayasurya) is the son of a deceased land owner and millionaire. Stephen is paralysed, and has been remaining a vegetable ever since birth. John (Anoop Menon) enters his life as a friend/comrade/singer/employee (watch the movie to know what we are talking about here with so many synonyms attached J) to make his life brighter and happier. They find solace in each other’s company transgressing deteriorates life offers. Anjali (Meghna Raj), the home-nurse to Stephen is the personification of enchantment. And the story moves forth….

Another noteworthy aspect would be the cinematography by Jomon. T. John. This new young talent promises to be a blessing to Malayalam cinema, hence ensuring his place in the industry. Music by Rathesh Vegha has already fetched a huge fan following. The song ‘Mazhathullikal’ was a super hit on Youtube and social networking sites even before release of the movie.
